JOIE DE VIVRE IN WINTER - Just 30 minutes from the famous ski resort of Verbier !
Lake Champex (Champex-Lac) in the heart of the Valais Alps, at the foot of the Mont Blanc Massif, presents a picture of a small tourist resort where the accent is on Nature.

A unique location !, The Residential Hotel complex, “LES MAYENS” is in the middle of the village, in a superb alpine setting – 18 high-class apartments in co-ownership, a fitness-health centre and underground parking.

Lake Champex in the Swiss Alps (1,470m) has succeeded in keeping its own character. Not only has it protected the environment and preserved the past, but it has also set up the infrastructure for tourism adapted to its natural setting.
It has developed the tradition of alpine and cross-country skiing, ice-skating and tobogganing, while introducing the possibility to try more recent fashions such as snowboarding, telemarking, carving and treks on snow-shoes.

> Alpine skiing
The Lake Champex ski area has 3 mechanical lifts : the Breya chairlift takes you up to a magnificent view-point at 2,200 m. opening on to a ski-field equipped with a second chairlift and a ski-lift, with a slope for beginners that’s lit (1,500 m. above sea-level).

20 minutes by road from Lake Champex you can find the mechanical lifts belonging to the famous Verbier resort. These take you to the 4 Valleys/Mt-Fort with some 410 km of runs, 92 installations and hectares of fresh snow to ski. The area is part of the largest skiing grounds of the Alps (1,500 – 3,330 m. above sea-level) and is open to all categories of skiers and snowboarders.

> Nordic skiing
Paradise of the Saint Bernard region cross-country skiing, Lake Champex offers 15 km of marked trails. The topography of the lake, draped in its sparkling white blanket, and the forest surroundings lend themselves wonderfully to cross-country skiing.
Several loops with varying flat areas and moderate slopes and rises wind through exceptionally beautiful nature.

> Snow-shoe treks
The sublime ‘Val d’Arpette’ invites you to trek on snow-shoes. This pleasurable pastime in great white open spaces accessible to all, enables you to discover the region in harmony with nature. The ease with which you can undertake winter walks in the great outdoors compares only to the delight and good effects it has on your health.

Winter and summer, you’ll find unspoilt nature in the idyllic setting of a small mountain lake.

For all these winter reasons.
